Beyond the Vale Chpt. 8 Feeder and the Fauna

    Night covered Beacon Academy, thousands of students all cramped into the ballroom to go to sleep before their initiation as instructed by Glynda Goodwitch. Auburn still had Lincoln Thumba basically clinging to her as they struggled to find some room to call their own for the night. Auburn had dawned maroon pajamas that covered her scars, and Lina still had her battle clothes and gear equipped as if she was ready to go. Auburn began to get a little nervous as they weaved in an out of people, alot of guys were staring at her curves that were still quiet visible even in her pajamas, at least that was the hope and not just singling her out because of her long beautiful tail swept anxiously behind her. "On the far side of that room there looks to be some space, there is just a black haired girl reading over there." Lina pointed out. Auburn saw her but got the "do not disturb vibe" from the black haired girl reading by candle light. Feeling sort of tired Auburn decided to give in to following Lina over to the girl reading the book, when suddenly her ears began to twitch. She could hear many things throughout the room, even though it irritated her mostly she heard a sound that peaked her interest. Her ears perked, and tweaked as she singled out a girl in the very corner of the ballroom a few feet from Auburn. She focused in on the noise she was making and realized that she was sobbing. "Hey Lina, that girl over there is crying I am going to go check it out!" Auburn quickly but carefully, stepped around people and made it straight to the girl sitting in the corner cry. She was wearing armor, and a dress of chestnut color that spread out of the empty armor sockets. She was crying as quietly as she could but Auburn could hear her pain. "Miss are you okay?" asked Auburn quietly. The girl poked her head up, she was beautiful, bright blue eyes and a flushed face with tears flowing out, and short shaggy brown hair. Something else caught her eye, two pointy ears that stuck out on the sides of her head so it seemed to just blend in with her hair. "Oh your a Fauna I didn't notice...sorry I heard you crying is there something I can do to help you?" asked Auburn compassionately. She rubbed her eyes clear, she was still sobbing but managed to regain enough composure to look up and talk with Auburn. "I am sorry to have bugged you with my crying...you are another faunus so you must have heard me sorry to have disturbed you." the girl whimpered. Auburn shook her head and placed her hand on the girls shoulder. "It's not a problem at all my dear friend tell me whats troubling you, we just started here we need to be together and strong." smiled Auburn. The girl began to get misty eyes again and she put her hand over her stomach guard as if to cradle it, and then she shook her head. "I can't say it is...it's..." She began to bury her face in tears again. Lina put her hand on the girl's other shoulder and sat next to her. "What about your name, can we start with you name first?" asked Lina. Though Lina's tone was bland her approach suggested she was genuinely wanting to aid this girl. "....my name is Uewa Chestnut...and I...I can't be around too many people I am embarrassed I have a condition I can't I can't!!!" Uewa began to panic. Both of the girls looked at each other and instantly grasped her shoulders to calm her but she would not raise her head. Auburn felt a gentle presence fall upon them as the shadow cast belonged to a large person standing before them. It was Ken Scottsfield who had heard the commotion and came to check. "I'm sorry I over heard as well and wanted to come help, I understand that a crowd is probably not what you want right now Uewa but rest assured we are comrades here not attackers." said Ken softly. Auburn looked at his gentle smile, and then began to drift at his night attire...skin tight black shirt that showed his hulking chizzled body and some green plad pajama bottoms. She realized that she was staring and trying to shake it off she spoke. "Oh hi there mister Ken! Good to see you again I wasn't sure if I'd see you around so soon!" perked up Auburn. Ken shot her a gentle glance and his face flared up a little. "I um oh yeah I hope you don't think I am stalking you or anything It's coincidence...not that I don't enjoy your company you seem like a nice lady." Ken stuttered. "Oh...not at all in fact I-" Auburn was cut off by Lina jumping into the conversation. "Remembering that there is a fauna here in emotional agony, and you I haven't even been properly introduced my name is Lincoln Thumba just call me Lina, nice to meet you mister Scottsfield." Said Lina bluntly. "How did you know my name?" asked Ken. "Auburn here took a fancy to you so she told me when I mentioned I saw you walking by." replied Lina. Both Ken and Auburn shot up red. "GAGH! Anyways Uewa please tell us what is bothering you, we are all on the same side here you can tell us...we all have our scars your not alone." Auburn frantically changed the subject.
   
    "You all seem a decent enough sort, and I am calm around you so I suppose I can tell you..." Uewa began softly. "Up until about a year and a half ago I was a...slave to someone..." Uewa continued. Everyone was shocked, this poor cute little Fauna was a slave? Auburn knew first hand the cruelty that could be inflicted on others if the desire was there, but it has been a long time since slavery was heard among them. "I was this man's pleasure slave...*sniff*...he...he..." she was starting to choke up again. Before Auburn could react, Ken reached out with a tissue and caught her tears. "Listen Uewa if it is too hard I understand we don't want to force you, but we believe it might help you with your time here at beacon if you let friendly figures in on some of your pain...going into the world we are going into...suffering alone is not something that is healthy or will help you protect yourself or others...please trust us." said Ken softly. Auburn stared into Ken's eyes that stared into Uewa's...this is crazy this guy seemed to be saying everything that just made her heart flutter and they barely knew each other, many of Auburn's ideals seemed to be flowing from someones mouth that wasn't her own...and this boy was a human at that. She had always been called naive and too much of a dreamer, but when Ken spoke she could hear exactly what she dreamed of coming to fruition. Uewa smiled a small, less broken and more at ease smile. "Thank you mr. Scottsfield...I will try, I was this man's pleasure slave..." She said quietly. "Do you mean he??" Lina asked, everyone knew what she was getting at but to everyone's dismay Uewa shook her head. "No I was his pleasure in a much different aspect...the man was into feederism...forceful feederism..."

"SHES A HAZARD TO MY HEALTH!"
Auburn's ears wiggled up as she heard some girls across the room arguing some nonsense or other. It was enough to distract her for just a moment but Uewa was taking her time. "Feederism?" asked Ken. "Yes...he tied me up and force fed me fattening food day in and day out...his goal was to feed me and fatten me up until I was the size he wanted...then he'd have his way with me..." whimpered Uewa. Auburn felt her heart ping, this was a whole new kind of torture, this girl was being scarred in a completely different way than she had ever been. "Within a few weeks of his fantasies I gained somewhere near 23 pounds...he would always poke and prod at my tummy the plumper it got...it was humiliating..." cried Uewa. Auburn embraced her and held her in close, Ken sat down in front of her and scooted in to sort of block the line of sight from any unwanted outsider attention. "However...one day when he decided it was time...I was stuffed and dazed, all I remember is a cloaked masked figure with golden hair piercing into my owners chest with a large knife. He killed my owner and saved me..." said Uewa. Auburn froze, something from her passed just clicked and she solemnly spoke. "I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but when I was a child I was kidnapped and savagely beaten by a group of anti faunus extremists...that is how I got these scars..." Auburn lifted up her pajama sleeves to reveal the scars on her arm that confirmed the tale, Uewa looked at them with sorrow and sympathy...Lina had already seen them, but Ken just looked with a hidden passion burning in his eyes, Auburn was truly trying to gauge a remark from Ken...normally she wouldn't care about someone's opinion of herself but for some reason she wanted to know where he truly stood. However Ken remained silent and nodded, he understood what had happened and it let them finish speaking. "When I was half dead all I remember was a cloaked masked figure silhouetted who embraced me after using a knife to cut me loose...I wonder if this man was the same person." confessed Auburn.
     "It is quiet possible I found out afterwards that a masked vigilante called the "SpeakEasy" has been combating human and faunus trafficking and other such things, though I hear he quit some time ago so this may just be coincidence, regardless he stopped my slave life and abuse and did his best to help me..." said Uewa. "Tried? Did he not free you and allow you to make it here to Beacon?" asked Ken. Uewa shook her head and grasped the plate of armor where her stomach was. "In his last defiance my owner threw unto me what he had been saving for his night of pleasure...it was an unknown kind of dust that progressively makes whoever subjected increase in body fat." explained Uewa trying no to cry. "Before the man vanished from my life entirely he left me this armor and a note that read "I am sorry but this is the best I can do, this will slow the process in the meantime I will search for a permanent solution...be strong, someday your beauty will be your own...not someone elses." and vanished. This armor injects into me and slows down my growth, but only does that...it doesn't effect my agility or my ability to be combat efficient, but at the same time no amount of exercise or dieting changes anything, until I find a permanent cure I will eventually grow fatter and fatter...to what end I do not know but with the armor it reduces it to a quarter of a pound every few weeks, but some days I have spells where my belly will grow an inch or two at a time, eventually...*sob* I'll outgrow everything...I can't be here at Beacon this was a horrible idea!!" Simultaneously Auburn, Ken, and Lina grabbed onto Uewa's shoulder and held her close, then they pulled her away and looked her in the face. Lina was the first to perk up and she waved her implanted device in front of Uewa. "I am the same as you, I can't explain it yet it looks liked everyone is getting to sleep but I will show you what I mean, I don't know who saved you maybe it is this "SpeakEasy" character, regardless he may have contacts with some of the people who have the same type of technology at their disposal that I did, I will help you solve this problem Uewa." Said Lina with a bold thunderous tone. "I know your pain, in a different way but Uewa I understand, and I will be behind you every step of the way I promise!' said Auburn enthusiastically. Ken stood up and his broad shoulders seemed to be able to block out all outside aggression. " I know I don't have much of a stake in this Uewa, but I swear to on the honor of the BearGuard that I will protect you from here on out, if for any reason anyone gives you trouble send them to me and I'll set them straight. " Ken cracked his neck and gave off a subtle flex that made all three girls blush, even Lina who pretended like she didn't think it was totally awesome. "Thank you Ken! Thank you Auburn! Thank you Lina! I never dreamed I would meet such wonderful people here at Beacon, even if we haven't even started yet!" chipped up the little chipmunk Fauna. They all smiled and Uewa was almost illuminated, but all of that was cut short by a sharp and playful taunt from Lina. "By the way Ken I think it was super admirable of you to come over here and pep talk Uewa, even if your initial interest was just to work up the nerve to tell Auburn here how beautiful you think she is." Lina creaked a smile and a chuckle. Ken shot up red Uewa laughed with Lina, and Auburn's ears drooped, her face became Rosie red, and her tail frizzed up. "Lincoln!!! Tha thats not-" Auburn was interrupted by Ken finally mustering up some courage. "No she is right, Uewa I meant every word, maybe subconsciously I was trying to show off a bit though, and Auburn she is right I know I just met you and I feel like a dork for saying this but you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen....goodnight you guys." Ken exhausted all the courage he could muster with that last sentence and spun around and vanished into the crowd. Auburn was bright red but her eyes were shimmering, her ears perked up and her heart was thumping and her tail was swishing back and forth. Lina chuckled...and under her breathe she muttered."You are welcome Auburn."
